It was exciting to be part of Chic Yamada's first ever fashion show at Thirst presenting Godskitchen Boombox on the 4th of December held at the Sepang International Circuit. Backstage, things were going full force early on with the models, make-up artists from MAC, hairstylist and Facekraft team getting their efforts together for the big show.
The models strut down the catwalk to DJ Goldfish and Blink's bouncing set in their bohemian and classy apparels. The bohemian collection showcased fun, colourful, printed satin and chiffon fabrics while the classic collection had a mix of pastel lycras, 60s glam inspired flowy dresses with hourglass silhouettes and longer hemlines.
The facekraft team complimented the outfits, bright coloured eye make-up and big hair with hand tattoo art inspired by flowers, ribbons and not to forget, the red Heineken star. The fuschia and red roses were airbrushed using stencils, so were the neon green leaves and red star, while the ribbons were prettily painted freehand by Eunice. The most time-consuming task was outlining the whole arm tattoo design in black to make it stand out. Overall, I was extremely happy that the tattoos came out so beautifully thanks to my dedicated team ;-)
These photos were taken before and during the show. What fun!

note : 2 of the photos were 'stolen' from Chic Yamada ;-p
